Graduation uproar  - Sontiamon School, others differ with Government
The Dean of Students of the Sontiamon Christian School System in Sinkor, Monrovia, Mr. Solomon M. Joah Jr. , has expressed disdain over recent pronouncements by the Government of Liberia (GoL) through the Ministry of Education (MoE), prohibiting schools nationwide not to graduate their students until the results of the recent West African Senior Secondary Certificate Exams administered to Liberian students are released.

The Chamber of the Liberian Senate was charged yesterday with an intense debate over a proposed amendment to the 1986 Constitution of Liberia, to insect changes in Article 45, 46 and 48 of the constitution. Senator Varney G. Sherman of Grand Cape Mount County on May 21, 2018 proposed to the Senate to amend the three above Articles of the Liberian Constitution, but the proposed legislation was read and subsequently forwarded to the Senates Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights, Claims and Petitions.
