The former Nimba United star player was the hero of the night as FS Metta secured a place in the semifinal of the Latvian FA Cup.
Sunnyboy Dolo scored a stunning equalizer as FS Metta held BFC Daugavpils in a six-goal thriller in the Latvian Super Cup quarterfinal at the weekend.
The former FC Fassell attacker came on as a 72th-minute substitute for his new club who were at the verge of bidding farewell to competition before netting the much needed equalizer in the 119th minute of extra time.
FS Metta however won the showpiece from the penalty spot, thanks to a 4-1 victory.
Vladislavs Fjodorovs put Metta ahead in the 6th minute but Naisir Munoz equalized for Daugavpils in the 28th minute.
Kirils Sevelovs again put Metta ahead 39th minute, but Herve Kouadio restored Daugavpils hope in the 75th minute.
Both sides failed to score in the remaining minutes, thus the match moved to extra time.
After so many wasted opportunities, Daugavpils took the lead for the first time with Kouadio netting his second of the match in the 108 minutes before Dolo grabbed the equalizer in the seven minutes from time.
FS Metta Head Coach Andris Riherts speaking in a post-match interview said the singing of the former Liberia Under-20 attacker was not a mistake and is an added advantage to the team.
Dolo and compatriot Van-Dave Harmon recently signed for the Latvian side.
