The Spain-based Lone Star stopper has arrived in the country ahead of the mouthwatering encounter against the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Goalkeeper Boison Wynney de Souza jetted in the country Sunday via the Robert International Air Port less than five days to the cruise match with the Congolese Leopards.
Liberia will face Congo on September 9, 2018 at the Samuel Kanyon Doe (SKD) Sports Complex in Paynesville in the 2019 Africa Cup Nations qualifier. The match is expected to kickoff at 6 pm.
Wynney de Souza who made his international debut against Sierra Leone last year plays his club football in Spain for RCD Mallorca II.
He arrived alongside Sylvanus Nimely who plays for Sparta Moscow II of Russia.
Meanwhile the LFA said , an entire bunch of the players invited will arrive in the country on September 4, 2018.
Those expected to arrive today September 4,2018 are: Anthony Laffor of Mamelodi Sundown of South Africa, Joel Johnson Alajarin of Charlotte Independence of the USA, Adolphus Marshall of Gudja United FC of Malta, Murphy Oscar Dorey of Slovan Liberec of the Czech Republic and Seku Conneh of South Korea’s Ansan Greener.
The final set of players will arrive on September 5 and they are Sam Johnson who is playing his club football in Norway for Valerenga, William Jebor of Wydad Athletic Casablanca of Morocco an in-form Liberian player Kpah Sherman who plays for MIFA in Malaysia.
Striker Tonia Tisdell is a late addition to the squad after the withdrawal of Mohammed Sangare of Newcastle United and Terrence Tisdell who plays in Portugal for San Joanense due to resident permit issues.
Tonia Tisdell who plays in Turkey for Denizlispor will touch down later this week ahead of the September 9. 2018 showdown at the SKD Sports Complex.
