The Liberian international played 68 minutes as Valerenga were booted out of the Norwegian Cup on Wednesday by Rosenborg.
Sam Johnson’s Valerega bidded farewell to the Norwegian cup following a 2-0 defeat to League leaders Rosenborg on Wednesday at the Lerkendal stadium.
The match was the second consecutive year quarterfinals meeting between Vålerenga and Rosenborg. Rosenborg's Djorde Denic put the hosts ahead after 17 minutes before Vegar Hedenstad made it 2-0 with 54 minutes of play.
The Vålerenga’s attack led by Johnson created better right side opportunities for the first 45 minutes, but could not convert a goal.
Johnson who has netted eight goals for the Norwegian Club was substituted in the 68th minute of the match.
